Merice Washer. Beloved wife of Howard Washer for 52 years. Cherished mother of Herbert Washer, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Washer, and Rachel (Jason) Leinberger. Cherished Bubbe of Jordan, Luke, Abby, Andrew, Ethan, Aaron, and Sydney. Dear sister of the late Andrea Barlett. Treasured friend to many. She had a passionate commitment to contributing to the “repair of the world” through her tireless social action efforts and provided unwavering support and devotion to her Beth Tikvah Congregation Community. Funeral service Friday 1PM at Beth Tikvah Congregation, 300 Hillcrest Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL 60169. Interment Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Merice’s name to the Beth Tikvah Congregation Social Action Fund would be appreciated.
