Our first meeting

Lee and I met at a Republican Jewish Committee meeting.  In his usual direct manner, he stood up and confronted the speaker.  After he sat down, I applauded him and said, "A man who speaks my language."  Over the past decade we shared emails and phone calls about everything from the stupidity of our elected officials to how I could edit my written material so that it would be more palatable to the reader.  Lee was so brilliant.  He could speak about the price of gold and silver, books, poetry and art.  I learned so much from him.  I will sorely miss his friendship.
