Donald Rutstein. Beloved husband of the late Jewell Rutstein. Cherished father of Robbie Rutstein, Steven (Lori) Rutstein, Frances (Joseph Artzer) Rutstein, and Lori (Thomas Fox) Hoefler. Loving grandfather of Jenna Hoefler, Katy Hoefler, Alex Rutstein, and the late Vanessa Hoefler. Fond brother of Lewis (the late Sara) Rutstein and the late Jane Lavender. Dear uncle of Dr. Geoffrey Simmons, Joel Rothschild, and Patti (George Kirkman) Ward. Special grandpa of Joseph Christopher and Vanessa Lucinda. Don was a Diamond Life Master bridge player and an avid White Sox fan. A Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday 4PM-9PM at Lincolnwood Place, 7000 N. McCormick Blvd, Lincolnwood, IL 60712. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Guardian Hospice, 181 Waukegan Rd., Suite 301, Northfield, IL 60093 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
