Sol Yates, age 91. Beloved husband of Lee Yates, nee Warfield. Cherished father of Beryll “BJ” (Jay) Heiferman, Dr. Barbara (Dr. David) Slivnick, and Beth Hunter. Devoted grandfather of Dr. Jeremy (Sarah) Slivnick and Elyssa Slivnick. Dear sister of the late Bernice Landy. Fond uncle of Blair Landy. Respected CPA and Certified Financial Planner. Past President of B’nai Brith. Funeral services Friday 10:30 am at Congregation B’nai Yehuda Beth Sholom, 1424 W. 183rd Street, Homewood. Interment to follow at Waldheim Cemetery.
