KARBIN, HENRY

Henry Karbin, 93, a veteran of WWII who served his country as a U.S. Marine in the Battle of Iwo Jima and on Guam. Beloved husband for 67 years to Marion Osip Karbin. Loving father of Renee (Bob) Franks, Marlene (Dr. Steven) Rubinow, Spencer (Christine) Karbin, Breann (Sanford) Shultz, and the late Lynda Karbin. Dear son of the late Leah and Martin Karbin. Cherished grandfather of Arnie Franks, Tamara (Todd) Cornwell, Alexandar (Dori) Rubinow, Rebecca Rubinow, Dr. Joshua Shultz, Benjamin Shultz, Zachary Shultz, the late Matthew Franks and Tabatha Franks. Cherished great-grandfather of Mason Cornwell, Haley Cornwell, and Jacob Rubinow. Devoted brother of Harold Karbin, the late Alvin Karbin, Norman Karbin, Raymond Karbin, and Arnold Karbin. Services Wednesday 1PM at Central Avenue Synagogue, 874 Central Ave., Highland Park, IL. Interment Zion Gardens, Chicago, IL.
