Neighborly Teasing

As a full time working person, Norm didn't see much of me.  But when he did the teasing began and I loved it.  Soon after we became neighbors Norm told me to start opening my blinds because he couldn't see inside of my house.  I think his favorite line was that my husband keeps me chained in the basement.  The funniest one was when I turned 60 my husband put a birthday sign in the front yard.  A few weeks later I went to Elly's for breakfast and met Norm and Rowan in there.  Norm asked me about the sign and I told him my husband was trying to embarrass me for my birthday.  Norm's response - oh, I thought you were having a baby!  We laughed so hard.  As they were leaving the restaurant he said well we will see you next year .  My response was ok and by that time the baby will be almost a year old.  The last time I saw him was a few weeks ago when he was trying to talk me into retiring.  Norm, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the laughs and for making me feel liked and included.  Rowe, my deepest condolences to you and your family.
