Louis S. Kahnweiler, age 97. Beloved husband of the late Ruth, nee Markus for sixty nine years. Cherished father of Nancy (Ben) Randall, William (Jennifer) Kahnweiler and Kathy Kahnweiler. Devoted grandfather of Jeffrey (Anya) Randall, Nick Randall, Katy Randall, Lindsey (Adam) Goldberg and Jessie Kahnweiler and great-grandfather of Ava and Millie Goldberg. Dear brother of the late Albert J. Kahnweiler and friend and mentor of many. From humble beginnings he was the founder of Bennett & Kahnweiler, an industrial real estate company that developed Centex Industrial Park and 25 industrial parks across the country. He served as President of District 108 School Board in Highland Park, and on the board of directors of Highland Park Hospital, Exchange National Bank of Chicago and Roosevelt University. A fierce competitor, whose hard work, intellect and sense of fairness made him a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a success in business and in friendship. He lived, worked, enjoyed and laughed throughout his wonderful life.
